2022 is seeing a revival back to the PPG norm and there has been no better evidence of this then what was to see at the Salton Sea gathering in California. Pilots from all over the USA gathered to share the Blue Sky
The Salton Sea XC event saw 90 miles of XC magic with more than 15 pilots doing their best to complete the distance.
Kit Patterson and team pilot Chis Simmons represented the Nirvana brand and both enjoyed the added advantage of Dudek Warp gliders.
With strong headwinds making it challenging the name of the game was ‘wind penetration’ and fuel efficiency! The only two pilots to complete the entire 90 mile track turned out to be our Nirvana boys.
